The Association of Hungarian Architects & Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Prague is proud to announce the

V4+2025 CENTRAL EUROPEAN FAMILY HOUSES International Conference in Prague

VENUE: Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Architecture, Thákurova 9 166 34 Praha 6 - Dejvice

The lecturers are the 2025 winners of our V4+ family houses travelling exhibition program (est. 2008). They will present that the region's architects use a common language of architecture. The architectural achievements of countries with similar pasts, histories, and cultures. The audience will get a closer view of the intellectual and physical state of family house architecture in Central Europe today. The exhibition opens in Budapest, Prague, Kraków, Košice, Bratislava, and Osijek. This program not only provides a cross-border perspective but also strengthens cooperation in Central Europe.

PROGRAM

10 am             Tour to visit family houses in Prague (meeting point at the entrance of the building)

14.30-17.30 pm                     lectures & exhibition opening

moderator: Tereza Šváchová, architect, Creative Director of INTRO, an architecture magazine focused on contemporary discourse. Together with Jan Stempel and Ondřej Beneš, she leads a design studio at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague.
